With a view to administering and implementing the Act in
true spirit, the following actions have been taken by RINL/VSP:-
1.For collection of information and
its compilation, in respect of different departments in the organisation, Departmental Nodal Officers have been
appointed, apart from CPIO and ACPIOs. These Departmental Nodal Officers help in
collecting the data sought under RTI ACT 2005 and its compilation for
necessary action by ACPIOs and CPIO.
2.Copies of the ACT have been
distributed among CPIO, ACPIOs and Departmental
Nodal Officers and Senior Officers.
3. Discussions have been held with Departmental Nodal
Officers for proper implemtation of the ACT
4.A workshop on the provisions of
RTI-2005 for all Departmental Nodal Officers, CPIO and ACPIOs
and Senior officers was held on 30.12.05 with the help of faculties from
Ministry for clarifications on various points on the Act.
5. CPIO, ACPIOs and
Departmental Nodal Officers and officials dealing with RTI Act are being
nominated to participate in seminars/work shops conducted by specialised agencies.
6. Information relating to the act has been made
available in VSP website and intranet. |
