Particulars of any arrangement that exists for consultation with, or representation by the members of the public, in relation to the formulation of policy or implementation thereof

Following are the details of the public bodies etc. whose recommendations / discussions are considered for the implementation of the policies of RINL, VSP.

Meeting are conducted under the chairmanship of the Hon’ble Minister of Steel, where the producers, users and various associations of the industry interact, giving feed back on the policy issues and implementation aspects.

Joint Committee on Safety Health and Environment

Major Steel Producers of Steel – SAIL, RINL, TISCO and  ESSAR and Trade Unions are members in the Committee which discuss issues related to Safety, Health and Environment in the industry.

Customers Meets

These meetings are regularly held between RINL and the customers at the branch/region and Head Quarters level to discuss matters concerning the availability of materials, requirements/expectations of the customers, feed back on quality matters and servicing of  the orders etc.

Plant Level Committee Meetings

These meetings are held between RINL, the district authorities of the Industries department and the local manufacturing units who supply inputs like spares etc to VSP and also consume products of VSP for their manufacturing process.  Issues regarding requirement and availability of materials, quality aspects and related policy matters are discussed.
