Sri P Madhusudan, CMD, RINL highlighted the need to focus on optimising the cost of production and ramping up production from all the expanded units to compete in the present competitive market scenario. He made this observation while addressing senior officers and trade unions on the occasion of New Year 2016 in Ukkunagaram today.
Highest Turn over of Rs 1617 crores in December’15
Sri Madhusudan mentioned that focus in the new year should be on improving techno parameters and stressed the need to maintain high quality of the products to enhance the brand image of the Company. While reviewing the performance of RINL during 2015, Sri Madhusudan said that 2015 was a year of consolidation and complimented the RINL Collective for the various achievements in operational, projects and modernisation areas. He exhorted the RINL collective to work with utmost dedication to achieve the goals set for the financial year.
He was appreciative of the unstinted support being extended by Steel Executive Association and the unions in enhancing the discipline and productivity and look forward to their continued cooperation. Representative of Steel Executives Association (SEA), Trade unions, SC&ST association, WIPS and large number of senior officers participated.
