Dr T Subbarami Reddy, Hon’ble Chairman, Committee on Subordinate Legislation, Rajya Sabha and other Hon’ble members of the Committee were accorded a warm welcome by Sri P Madhusudan, CMD, RINL on their arrival at Ukku House during their visit to the plant today.  Dr Subbarami Reddy, Chairman and other Hon’ble members of the Committee planted saplings at “Arogyavanam” in Ukkunagaram. Later, they visited the “Model Room and Awards Gallery”. The Committee went around the plant visiting   major production units and Oil Reclamation Unit.  The Chairman, Dr.T.Subbarami Reddy and other committee members were highly appreciative of the greenery in and around the plant. Dr T Subbarami Reddy lauded Sri P. Madhusudan CMD, RINL and his team for the effective management of hazardous and other wastes in the plant. He also complimented VSP management for taking appropriate pollution control measures. Dr T Subbarami Reddy and the members said that the concerted and focused efforts of RINL management for environmental protection and conservation were exemplary. The Committee was accompanied by Member Secretary, State Pollution Control Board and officials from Ministry of Environment & Forests and APPCB. Sri P Madhusudan, CMD, RINL, Sri PC Mohapatra, Director (Projects), Dr.GBS Prasad, Director (Personnel), Sri DN Rao, Director (Operations),  Sri P.Raychaudhury, Director (Commercial)  and senior officials accompanied the committee during the visit.
