RINL joined the nation in celebrating Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s 127th birth anniversary popularly known as “Children’s Day” in Ukkunagaram today. Sri DN Rao, Director (Operations) RINL, the chief guest, paid rich tributes to the first prime minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru on his birth anniversary by garlanding the statue of Nehru. Speaking on the occasion, Sri Rao recalled the freedom struggle and his role as the first Prime Minister and the architect of modern India. Senior officers, representatives of Steel Executive Association, recognized union, other unions, SC&ST association present and offered floral tributes to Pandit Nehru on the occasion.
