Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant today paid rich tributes to Sri Babu Jagjeevanram, the former Deputy Prime Minister of India on the occasion of his birth anniversary at a function held in Ukkunagaram today. Sri P Raychaudhury, Director (Commercial) RINL offered floral tributes and garlanded the statue of Babuji at Babu Jagjeevanram Park in the town ship. Speaking on the occasion, Sri Raychaudhury recalled the services of Jagjeevanram in the up-liftment of the downtrodden in the society and praised him as a popular leader in the country. Steel Executive Association general secretary, Sri P Satyanarayana, recognized union President Sri Gandham Venkat Rao, union leaders Sri D Adinarayna, Sri Ayodyaram, Sri Jagjeevanram from SC&ST Welfare Association, Sri V Srinivasarao and others paid floral tributes to him on the occasion.
