RINL, the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (popularly known as Vizag Steel) responded positively to the call given by Sri N Chandrababu Naidu, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh that the major corporate sectors in Visakhapatnam to generously contribute to the victims of Titli cyclone that devastated several villages in Srikakulam district.Sri P K Rath, CMD, RINL-VSP called on Sri N Chandrababu Naidu, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh at Palasa in Srikakuma district late evening of Wednesday and presented a cheque for Rs 30 lakhs on behalf of the Company   towards “CM’s Relief Fund” as a responsible corporate citizen under Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.  Sri Rath also informed the Hon’ble Chief Minister that RINL employees will contribute another Rs 65 lakhs towards CM Relief Fund. Sri KC Das, Director (Personnel), senior officials of RINL were present on the occasion. Sri Chandrababu Naidu appreciated the fine gesture of RINL management for coming forward to help the cyclone victims of Srikakulam district. Sri P K Rath, CMD, RINL-VSP presented the cheque to Sri N Chandrababu Naidu, Hon’ble Chief Minister in the presence of Sri KC Das, Director (Personnel) RINL, Hon’ble Ministers of AP Govt and Srikakulam MP.
