RINL, the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant bagged the IIIE-Performance Excellence Award: 2014 for the second time in a row.
This year also the application was prepared and submitted by Management Services Dept. The award was presented to RINL-Visakhapatnam Steel Plant at the 19th CEOs Conference held Dubai, United Arab Emirates. On behalf of RINL-Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, Shri N V K Raju, GM (Safety) received the Award.
Sri P Madhusudan, CMD, RINL while congratulating the RINL collective for the achievement, mentioned that the award truly reflects the commitment and dedication of one and all in achieving excellent performance.
Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering (IIIE) a professional body has instituted this prestigious IIIE-Performance Excellence Award at the National level to recognize, acknowledge and honour reputed organizations i.e. Public/Private Sector Enterprises for their performance excellence by bestowing on them distinguished awards along with a citation.
IIIE is evaluating the applications received from different Public and Private sectors on five key aspects which are financial strength/Achievements, Innovation & learning, Customer Satisfaction, Strategy for development & growth and Internal Processes.
The coveted award adds another feather in the cap of RINL’s glory.
