The Women in Public Sector (WIPS) of Vizag Steel Plant bagged the “Best Enterprise Award” in the “Maharatna & Navratna” category for the year 2015 inrecognition of their commendable service, participation, involvement and achievements of their professional personal front.
Sri P. Madhusudan , CMD-RINL congratulated the WIPS management committee members when they called on him today and he observed that women employees of RINL are brining laurels and fame to the organisation with their dedicated and committed efforts.
Dr G B S Prasad, Director (Personnel), RINL and Sri T Sunder GM(HR)-NW& Trg & Hony’ President, WIPS-VSP and members of the Managing Committee received the Award from Smt. Lalitha Kumaramangalam, Hon’ble Chairperson, National Commission for Women at 26th National convention of Forum of Women in Public Sector (WIPS) held in association with SCOPE in Chennai.
The award instituted by the Central APEX Forum of WIPS in 1992, is presented annually to select PSUs in recognition of the finest efforts made to harness the growth & development of Women in PSUs.
Outstanding Woman Manager Award: Dr G.Seshamma, AGM (QA&TD) VSP was the proud winner of Best Achiever Award (2nd Prize in Executive category) for her distinguished performance during 2015.
