Sri P Madhusudan, CMD, RINL  said that VSP always encourages and supports MSME and Startup sectors and has put in guidelines in place  for their effective functioning for improving its business and fostering relations with Vendors. He made this observation while inaugurating the  “Vendors Meet” of both Andhra Pradesh and Telengana, organized by Materials Management department of RINL today in Ukkunagaram. Addressing the Vendors, Sri Madhusudan appreciated the role played by Vendors in the  RINL growth story and stressed the need for strong supply chain management for the Company. Sri P Madhusudan, CMD, RINL said that the Company had passed through a difficult phase and registered a significant growth in operations and marketing despite sluggishness during 2016-17. He expressed confidence that  RINL would complete its expansion and operate much above rated capacity during 2017-18. He said that the Vendors should focus on supplying quality input material and assured full support and co-operation from RINL’s side. Sri DN Rao, Director (Operations) stated that RINL is known for its quality products and the quality  comes from processes, operational efficiency and quality of inputs. Sri P Raychaudhury, Director (Commercial),RINL in his opening remarks mentioned that the meeting aimed to strengthen relations with Vendors who are considered as vital partners. RINL has registered around 3,500 vendors thorough out the country. He sought feedback from vendors for further improving the processes at RINL. Earlier, Dr SN Rao, Executive Director (Materials Management), Sri OR Ramani, Executive Director (Maintenance) in their  address acknowledged the support of vendors right from the beginning and added that the implementation of Integrity Pact,  SAP application and ERP by RINL would further help  strengthen the relations with the vendors. Sri GVR Naidu,  Asst Director, MSME and Sri Ramalingeswar Rao, GM, District Industries Center, Visakhapatnam were present on the occasion. Later, the vendors interacted with  senior officials of RINL during the one day meet. Large number of vendors from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana  were participated in the meet.
