The “37th RINL Formation Day” celebrations got off to a glittering start with the participation of Ms PV Sindhu, Brand Ambassador of Vizag Steel today in Ukkunagaram. Sri PK Rath, CMD, RINL,  Sri PJ Vijayakar, CVO, Sri P Raychaudhury, Director (Commercial), Sri KC Das, Director (Personnel), Sri VV Venugopal Rao, Director (Finance), RINl-VSP, Smt Sarada Rath, President of Visteel Mahila Samiti, Sri PV Ramana, father of Sindhu  participated in the celebrations.Sri PK Rath, CMD, RINL,  Ms PV Sindhu and RINL Directors planted trees in Ukku Stadium to mark the occasion. Later, Sri Rath, Ms Sindhu, Directors and CVO, RINL flagged off the Solidarity Run organized by the Sports Department of  VSP.  Children of Ukkunagaram schools, large number of employees, representatives of Steel Executives Association, unions, Visteel Mahila Samiti, WIPS, took part in the solidarity run. Speaking on the occasion, Sri Rath stated that RINL-VSP has always been attaching importance for developing sports infrastructure in Ukkunagaram and encouraging the budding children and employees to prosper in their respective fields. He commended highly Ms Sindhu for bringing name and fame to the country, particularly to RINL as a Brand Ambassador of Vizag Steel. Ms Sindhu while appreciating RINL-VSP for creating a very good sports infrastructure and promoting sports persons in Ukkunagaram,  said that “I am proud to be  associated with Vizag Steel as a Brand Ambassador and continue to propagate Vizag Steel at national and global events”.  Vizag Steel is known for quality products and the employees are also highly dedicated and committed, she observed. Later, Ms Sindhu played an exhibition match with children of the schools and interacted with them at Multi-Purpose Hall in Ukkunagaram. While interacting with children, Ms Sindhu exhorted them to improve the talent, work hard and advised them to have  continuous practice of the games they aspire for to grow in future.
