With a view to empower Divyangjan (persons with various disabilities) and help them earn livelihood, RINL provided skill development training to 100 beneficiaries with disabilities in Visakhapatnam.RINL spent Rs 4.95 lakh towards imparting necessary skills with the support of Jan Shikshan Sansthan (under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship) to the trainees as part of corporate environment responsibility initiative of RINL.

RINL, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant organised yet another free integrated medical camp at Government Tribal Ashrama School (Boys) in Jajulapalem Village of Chintapalli Mandal as part of its Corporate Environment Responsibility initiatives”, today (28.08.2022).With a deep concern to provide better health and quality life to the tribal people residing at remote villages, RINL, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has been conducting free integrated medical camps as part of its Corporate Environment Responsibility initiatives (CER) along with the medical team of sri Sathya sai seva organisations, vizag district. Today’s free medical camp was coordinated by Ukkunagaram sri Sathya sai seva samithi of sri Sathya sai seva organisations of Visakhapatnam District. Senior most doctors of sri Sathya sai medical service wing, Visakhapatnam district assisted by the Medical Sevadal (service wing volunteers), para medical team of sri Sathya sai medical centre also assisted in conducting the free medical camp for the tribals.

RINL, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant organised yet another Free integrated medical camp YN Pakalu tribal village of koyyuru mandal as part of its Corporate Environment Responsibility initiatives”, today (17.07.2022).With a deep concern to provide better health and quality life to the tribal people residing at remote villages, RINL, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has been conducting free integrated medical camps as part of its Corporate Environment Responsibility initiatives (CER) along with the medical team of sri Sathya sai seva organisations, vizag district.Today’s free medical camp was coordinated by Ukkunagaram sri Sathya sai seva samithi of sri Sathya sai seva organisations of Visakhapatnam District, krishna devi peta Samithi and  koyyuru Samithi of  sri Sathya sai seva organisations, Paderu district. Senior most doctors of sri Sathya sai medical service wing, Visakhapatnam district assisted by the Medical Sevadal (service wing volunteers),para medical team of sri Sathya sai medical centre also assisted in conducting the free medical camp for the tribals.

RINL, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant organised yet another Free integrated medical camp at at Muthyalammapalem remote village of Parawada mandal as part of its Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) initiative today (19.06.2022).With a deep concern to provide better health and quality life to the tribal people residing at remote villages, RINL, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has been conducting free medical camps as part of its Corporate Environment Responsibility initiatives (CER).Today’s free medical camp was coordinated by Ukkunagaram sri Sathya sai seva samithi of sri Sathya sai seva organisations of Visakhapatnam District.Senior most doctors of sri Sathya sai medical service wing, Visakhapatnam district assisted by the Medical Sevadal (service wing volunteers), para medical team of sri Sathya sai medical centre also assisted in conducting the free medical camp for the tribals.Representatives of Omega hospital have also joined the service to screen patients for cancer. Patients who need further treatment will be taken to Gayatri Vidya Parishad hospital, vizag where also they will be given free treatment.Medical team from Visakha eye hospital assisted in conducting the ophthalmology related tests for the tribals.

Sri T Nagireddy,  Hon’ble MLA,  Gajuwaka inaugurated three additional classrooms at ZP High School, Yarada constructed at a cost of Rs 35 lakhs by RINL-Vizag Steel under its Corporate Environment Responsibility funds.

RINL-Visakhapatnam Steel Plant today launched the Mid-day Meal scheme to the poor and needy children studying in Visakha Vimala Vidyalayas at Ukkunagaram and Pedagantyada as a CSR initiative of RINL.

On India’s 73rd Independence day celebrated on 15th August 2019, our Prime Minister made an appeal to all citizens to do away with the use of single used plastic in the country and replace it by sustainable alternative options such as jute/ cloth bag/ Steel bottles etc. Our small steps in this direction can bring significant change in the health and environment of the country. 

Sri Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Hon’ble Minister for HRD, Government of Andhra Pradesh inaugurated the renovated Workshop Building of Government Polytechnic for Women,  Bheemili under RINL-CSR initiative at a function held in Bheemili on 12th February,2019.

RINL-VSP  has sanctioned Rs 10 lakhs to Visakhapatnam Public Library under Corporate Social Responsibility programme to provide infrastructure support to the one of the premier libraries Visakhapatnam district.

Sri KC Das, Director (Personnel), RINL inaugurated a programme for providing Skill Training to People with Disabilities (Divyangjan) at Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam today. The programme was  taken up as a CSR initiative of the Company and is aimed to empower 100  ‘Divyangjan’ residing in the surrounding villages of the Plant and other areas of Visakhapatnam to provide a better livelihood.

RINL, the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (popularly known as Vizag Steel) responded positively to the call given by Sri N Chandrababu Naidu, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh that the major corporate sectors in Visakhapatnam to generously contribute to the victims of Titli cyclone that devastated several villages in Srikakulam district.
