Smt T Indira, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, Visakhapatnam  advised women employees to inculcate the habit of discipline and put aside  egos and be open to change for the development in their career. She exhorted the women employees to work with commitment  to scale greater heights.
 

Smt Indira was the chief guest at the Women in Public Sector (WIPS) Formation Day celebrations held in Ukkunagaram today. While sharing her experiences, she said that women need to be patient and assume responsibility in their day to work.  She appreciated the corporate social  activities of WIPS and the encouragement being provided by RINL management.Sri  P Madhusudan, CMD, RINL observed that modern women are showing their potentiality and brining laurels to the country. He said that RINL is always pro-active in enhancing the  role of women employees and continues to be a women friendly employer attaching a lot of importance to  women empowerment. He said that WIPS is an active division of the Company and he expressed pleasure that women employees at RINL are working in critical operation areas with dedication and commitment.
Sri  P Madhusudan released annual magazine “DISHA” brought out by WIPS on the occasion.
Sri P C Mohapatra, Director (Projects), Dr G B S Prasad, Director(Personnel), Sri D N Rao, Director(Operations) and Sri P Raychaudhury, Director (Commercial) RINL graced the occasion.
Smt Bindoo Mohapatra, President , Visteel Mahila Samiti,  Senior Officers from Vizag Steel, representatives from WIPS,  Unions, SEA and SC/ST Association, and  the women employees  in large participated in the programme organized by the WIPS Cell , VSP. 
Sri P Madhusudan felicitated Dr Lalitha of VSGH for obtaining MS in Neurology with a Gold medal on the occasion.
Smt N Bhanu, AGM (MS) & Alternate Co-ordinater of WIPS presented the annual report of WIPS and expressed her gratitude to the management  for their all round support.
Smt Sheba Rani, General Secretary, WIPS welcomed the gathering.
Women employees presented a skit on women empowerment on the  occasion.
