RINL the corporate entity of VSP has been bestowed with “Star Performer Award” for the year 2015-16 under Basic Iron & Steel category – Large Enterprises by Engineering Exports Promotion Council (EEPC), Ministry of Commerce, GoI during the International Engineering Sourcing Show (IESS 2017) at Chennai on 17th March evening. Sri P Madhusudan, CMD, RINL received the prestigious and coveted export excellence award from Sri P Benjamin, Hon’ble Minister of Rural Industries and MSME, Govt. of Tamilnadu at “48th EEPC India National Awards for Export Excellence” in the august presence of National and International dignitaries including Consuls General of European Countries, Russia etc.RINL-VSP has made an impressive performance in sales of its products especially in exports during 2015-16 which helped RINL to bag this prestigious award. The Sales performance highlights during 2015-16 are an Export of 5.68 lakh tonne (80% growth) in Sales Volume with turnover of Rs 1192 Crores i.e up by 38% over CPLY. RINL has been exporting its products to various countries viz Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand, Myanmar, South Africa, Ethiopia, Kenya etc.
