RINL has achieved a major breakthrough in enhancing ‘good corporate governance’ and ‘e-governance’ by implementing the latest Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in its business management. With this, RINL joined Major PSUs and multi national companies in implementing ERP system to enhance business excellence.

Sri P Madhusudan, CMD, RINL had initiated the process of ERP ‘Go-live’ by handing over the first sales invoice through ERP-SAP system to the Customer M/s Kandoi Industries India Pvt Ltd, at a function held in VSP today.Speaking on the occasion, Sri Madhusudan observed that organizations in this competitive environment, consider the ERP system a vital tool because it integrates varied
organizational systems and facilitates error-free transactions and production. However, ERP system development is different from traditional systems development, he said and added that ERP systems run on a variety of computer hardware and network configurations typically using a database as an information repository. Sri Madhusudan said that ERP systems track business resources—cash, raw materials, production capacity—and the status of business commitments: orders, purchase orders, and payroll, he mentioned.
Sri Madhusudan congratulated the VSP Collective for achieving the ‘go-live’ with minimum
black out period of 2 days only and ensuring a smooth transition to ERP system. He advised all the functionaries to take care of ERP initiation snags in order to reap the maximum benefits from the system in future.
Sri T.K Chand, Director (Commercial) congratulated the ERP and Marketing Teams and advised marketing collective to utilise the new system as an effective marketing tool. Sri PC Mohapatra, Director (Projects), Dr GBS Prasad, Director (Personnel), Sri R Shankar, ED(Marketing), Sri P Ramulu, ED(Automation), Senior officials of RINL and Marketing Department & Finance Dept were also present.
Earlier, Sri GN Murty, ED (F&A) had initiated the process of first money receipt transaction in ERP. Sri TVS Krishna Kumar, GM (F&A) handed over the first money receipt to the customer.
First ERP transaction Production Processes was initiated by Sri DN Rao, ED(Works)-I/c.
Dr SN Rao, DGM & Core Team Leader, ERP led the team consisting of Wipro and SAP officialsin the “Go – live” process successfully. Union leaders Sri D Adinarayana, Sri N Rama Rao, Sri Mantri Rajsekhar, Sri V Srinivasa Rao were present on the occasion.
