It was a historic moment in the annals of RINL with Blast Furnace -2 (KRISHNA) crossing the Glorious Milestone of 50 Million tons of Hot Metal production, since inception.The Blast Furnace -2 (BF-2) which was commissioned on 21.03.1992 achieved this significant milestone on 25th October, 2023 night. At a simple function held in the control room of Blast Furnace-2 to celebrate the occasion, Sri Atul Bhatt, CMD, RINL congratulated the entire Blast furnace team and the RINL collective on this momentous occasion.“It is with great pleasure and admiration that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you, the entire RINL workforce, and the remarkable Blast Furnace team on the historic achievement of Blast Furnace-2 (KRISHNA) reaching the monumental milestone of producing 50 million tons of Hot Metal.”, Sri Atul Bhatt, said.Speaking on the occasion, Sri Atul Bhatt, CMD, RINL said that “this extraordinary accomplishment is a testament to the dedication, unwavering commitment, and tireless efforts of the entire RINL family. It reflects not only the excellence in technology and innovation but also the unshakable determination of each member of the organization to reach new heights in the steel industry.Addressing the Blast furnace collective, Sri AK Bagchi, Director (Projects) & additional charge Director (Operations) said that “Reaching this milestone is a reflection of RINL"s leadership and continuous pursuit of excellence. It is a moment of immense pride for everyone associated with the company, and it underscores RINL"s position as an industry leader, setting high standards for others to follow. Shri Atul Bhatt, CMD, RINL has cut a cake to mark the celebrations along with other dignitaries.Speaking the occasion Sri NV Swamy, CGM (Works)-In-charge, Sri R.
